About Scriphouse
What Scriphouse is
Scriphouse is an exchange for Indian duty-credit scrips: the RoDTEP and RoSCTL e-scrips that exporters earn at export and importers can spend against basic customs duty. An exporter takes one firm offer on a scrip and is paid the same business day with a bank UTR. An importer covers an assessed Bill of Entry below face value. The transfer itself always executes on ICEGATE, the government's own system, and settlement is delivery versus payment: the money is locked before the scrip moves, or neither moves.
The name is the argument. In this market the counterparty you actually face matters more than anything else, and a house is the counterparty that stands behind the trade. Scriphouse buys into its own book and sells from its own account, so the price you accept is the price you are paid, and the party you face is the one whose name is on the door.
Who operates it
Scriphouse is an Eximfiles product operated by Dreamfuel Technologies Private Limited, an independent technology and settlement provider. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, Indian Customs, or ICEGATE, or any government body. The scrips themselves are issued, recorded and utilised by the Government; what Scriphouse operates is the market layer on top: pricing, screening, settlement and the paperwork. The legal terms that bind us are the Terms of Service, and the trust posture in full is on Compliance & Security.
What we stand behind
Every one of these is a product commitment a customer can hold us to, which is why it is safe to print. A quote is firm and held for sixty seconds: the number you accept is the number that settles. Settlement is atomic delivery versus payment on ICEGATE, with the payout the same business day carrying a bank UTR, and a failed settlement unwinds and refunds in full. The buy-side ask is capped at face value, because a scrip costing more than the duty it discharges is worth nothing to anyone. Every scrip is provenance-screened before it lists. Every settled trade ships a GST invoice and a net-realisation statement. The first trade on each IEC is free, on both sides, and the fee schedule after that is published in full on the pricing page.
How this site publishes
The resource library on this site is written under one editorial rule: nothing factual ships unverified. Every rate, section and date is traced to the primary instrument, the instrument is named in the sentence, outbound links go to official bodies only, and where a source is silent the page says so rather than filling the gap. That is why a guide here will cite the Electronic Duty Credit Ledger Regulations, 2021 or a DGFT notification by number where another site says "as per government rules". The library starts at Resources, and the same content is published for machines at llms-full.txt.
